While Finta handled compliance exceptionally well, I noticed a gap common across most finance platforms: they tell founders what happened, but rarely help them make better decisions going forward. This project explores how Finta could proactively guide founders toward a more tax-efficient spending strategy throughout the year.

Problem
Founders can see their expenses, but:
Founders can see their expenses, but:
-Spending data is presented retrospectively, not prescriptively
-There is little clarity on what “good” spending looks like from a tax perspective
-Tax optimisation is deferred to accountants at year-end, when it’s often too late to act

A clearly marked band shows where spending is considered tax-efficient, making over- and under-spend immediately visible.
